Election Day is quickly approaching and typically this has been a day off for students since our buildings are used as polling locations. This year, we are designating Election Day as a Virtual Day for all students. This means that all students will learn remotely on this day and no one will report to a physical school.Usually Election Day is designated as an Act 80 Day. Act 80 days allow the district to offer a day for professional development without affecting the number of required instructional days for students. However, in August, revisions were made to the calendar that moved the November Act 80 Day to the beginning of the school year and therefore there will not be any in-service activities planned for Nov. 3.
