Republican, Democrat or Adarian?
Report breaks down political affiliation in Montgomery County; some registrations could raise eyebrows.

Although registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by nearly 40,000 in Montgomery County, the Perkiomen Valley area -- Collegeville, Trappe, Skippack, Perkiomen, Schwenksville and Lower Frederick -- has a GOP majority.
Voter county by selected district and party, as of Oct. 22, 2011, shows 245,600 registered Democrats and 209,537 registered Republicans.
As far as Tea Party and Tea Party Conservative, two voters and one voter, respectively. The former is registered in New Hanover, and the latter in Pottstown Borough.

What’s also interesting to note: There is one person registered in Royersford’s Ward 2 who is a die-hard Steelers fan. So much so, they are the only members in the county of the Go Steelers Party.
Four voters tapped into their inner nerds and registered in the Adarian Party in the county.

Yes, four people really love “Star Wars.”
One of them lives in Lansdale Ward 3-1. Another in Rockledge Borough. A third is registered in Abington Township, and the fourth in Upper Gwynedd.
So, what other minor parties are represented in Montgomery County?
The Whig Party still exists in Montgomery County, at least for one person in Towamencin Township. The same goes for the Modern Whig Party, registered in Cheltenham Township.
There is one registered Anarchist. He or she lives in Lower Merion.
There is also one registered Atheist. He or she lives in Pennsburg.
In Montgomery County, there are 11 registered Communists. They’re all probably friends our OurSpace.
One Communist is registered in Lansdale Borough Ward 3-1, and another in Hatfield Township. Two are registered in North Wales Borough. Another is registered in Pottstown Borough and yet another in Telford Borough.
There are also 23 registered Socialists, and two registered under Socialist Party USA. Both of them are registered in Abington Township.
Abington Township can also claim one person registered in the Working Families Party.
One person is registered in the Christian party in Lower Moreland.
One person is on the fence, so they registered Undecided.
Six are registered Unknown.
There are 35 registered in the Patriot Party.
The third highest registered party in the county is Non-Partisan with 42,535. No affiliation falls in fourth at 24,585.
The Green Party in the county accounts for 986 voters. There’s more Libertarians than Green, at 2,876, but more Independent voters at 5,948.
The Reform Party comes in at 56 voters. The Constitutional Party accounts for 170 county voters.
In the county, 246 voters have no party at all.
