Skippack Township Board of Supervisors approve 12-year Comcast agreement

A new comprehensive plan is also on the way for the township.

The Skippack Township Supervisors approved a contract between Comcast and the township that was negotiated by a law service. It was disclosed that the legal fees were approximately $3,500. Township Manager Ted Locker added, "The contract will allow them a better price and negotiating power."

Skippack resident Gerald Brock asked, "What is the percentage of the bill that is passed to the community?" He noted his current Verizon statements include a monthly township fee.

Locker and Jill Zimmerman were unable to quote an exact amount during the meeting, but did state that the figures are available in a document at the township building for public review.
