PERKIOMEN VALLEY, PA — For all Mieke and Dover Wilmouth knew, last Thursday was going to be just another day at school in the Perkiomen Valley School District.

Little did they know their father, Army Major Jamey Wilmouth, had just completed his tour in Afghanistan, and would surprise his children with a visit to the school.

Major Wilmouth was not expected home for some time yet, so his early return was especially exciting for the family that missed him so much.
