The Desire to Dance Expands Collegeville Studio [PHOTOS]
The Dance Depot of Collegeville Station has expanded by adding 2,800-square-feet of studio space.
The celebrated its recent expansion into an 8,000-square-foot dance studio on Saturday afternoon at its residence in Collegeville Station on West Third Street.
The celebration kicked off on the newly renovated second floor with a ceremonial ribbon cutting in the entranceway of the new studio space.
Dancers, instructors, and audience members then filed onto the floor of the roomy new dance studio, all pinning themselves to the outskirts of the room in anticipation of the upcoming performances.

Voices were silent and expressions were fixed in awe as members of the dance studio illustrated the choreography in four performances of varying genres of dance.
Festivities extended down to the first floor of the studio where an enormous inflatable obstacle course for children was housed within one of the studio rooms.

As guests left the building, they were able to purchase baked goods donated by the families of the dance studio, whose proceeds will benefit “Hope Dances,” a non-profit organization that structures dance classes for children with autism.
Tents in the parking lot of the center housed activities, such as a duck pond, diva dress up booth, a craft tent with spin art, a balloon toss, 50/50 raffle, and food and beverages, sat before a large dunk tank where visitors had the opportunity to dunk staff members of the studio.
