Trappe Community Day Photos

The 9th annual community event drew roughly 2,500 people to Waterworks Park on Sept. 15

The 9th Annual Trappe Community Day was held Sept. 15 in Waterworks Park, from 10 am to 4:30 pm, featuring family fun for the entire family.

Two entertainment stages were set up for all-day shows, including the Caitrin Academy of Irish Dance, Funk Church Philly Based Band Shan Egan, and a dog contest sponsored by the Perk Valley Pet Eatery, among others.

More than 50 business, non-profit and government booths featured givaways, and food vendors - Collegeville Italian Bakery, Chi-Fil-A, Capt'n Chuck's Crab Cake Co. and many more - provided food.

Children enjoyed a petting zoo, a bounce wonderland, face painting, clowns, rock climbing, and much more.

"We should get between 2,500 and 3,000 people here today," said John Pelosi, Trappe Day co-chair, who noted that next year should be a particularly big day - the event's 10th anniversary.
