Canonsburg Hospital will offer a HealthCare Provider with AED Class on Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m in the McNary Conference Center.
The class includes Basic Life Support and is an intensive, one-day program specifically designed for physicians, nurses, day-care workers, lifeguards and others whose jobs may require rescue breathing during a medical emergency. The class also includes CPR for all ages, AED (automatic external defibrillator) training and relief of foreign body airway obstruction. Participants earn a two-year certification from the American Heart Association.
