Labor & Delivery 1-2-3 is an abbreviated three-hour childbirth education class that familiarizes expectant parents with the labor and delivery experience. The class reviews the following topics: signs of labor, when to call your doctor, the stages of labor, delivery of a healthy newborn and use of medications and epidurals during labor. Learning is enhanced through group discussion and course materials. Classes are offered as a single three-hour session on a weeknight or weekend. Expectant parents should schedule this class by the second trimester of pregnancy to ensure class availability and complete the class 3 - 4 weeks prior to due dates.  For additional information, please call 412-942-5895.
