Senior Crime Prevention University

The Attorney General’s Senior Crime Prevention University (SCPU) educates older Pennsylvanians and their families throughout the Commonwealth on crime prevention. The goal is to make Pennsylvania's older population aware of the threat of fraud and scams to the elder community, teach them how to avoid being victimized and to makesure they know to alert local law enforcement when they are concerned about their safety and well being. Seniors will interact with each on screen scenario as to whether or not a scam is unfolding right before their eyes; this presentation’s interactive DVD format is engaging as well as educational.
