Peters Township School District is hosting a Leadership in Sports forum- Y.E.S.(Youth Exemplifying Sportsmanship )- on Monday, November 25, from 7:00 p.m.-8:15 p.m. The event is designed for student athletes in grades 5- 12, as well as parents and coaches. The free event is sponsored by Peters Township Athletic Department, Peters Township Park and Recreation, and Peters Township Character Counts. It will take place in the Highschool cafeteria and center around the ideals of leadership, sportsmanship, and a healthy approach to competition through honoring the game.
Feature Speakers are:
Chris Morgan- Pastor of Contemporary Worship at Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park
Chris Kelly- Middle School Teacher and Peters Twp. Head Boys Volleyball Coach
Jay Zeminski-Middle School Teacher and MS Cross Country , Basketball, and Track and Field Coach
