14 Deteriorated Philly Roads Being Fixed Next Week: PennDOT

Crews will be out next week trying to fix potholes and other road deterioration caused by winter weather in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — PennDOT said crews will be out in force next week to address potholes and other road deterioration on 14 Philadelphia roads.

The targeted roads — which are listed below — are just some of the more than 70 Philadelphia-area highways that will get some much-needed attention.

  • Interstate 76;
  • Interstate 95;
  • U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard);
  • Route 532 (Bustleton Avenue/Welsh Road);
  • Broad Street (Route 611);
  • 65th Street;
  • Kelly Drive;
  • Broad Street;
  • Market Street;
  • Grays Ferry Avenue;
  • Columbus Boulevard;
  • Richmond Street;
  • Delaware Avenue; and
  • Marshall Road.

Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state highways to patch areas of deteriorating pavement.

Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.
