2 Men Sought In Distraction Burglary Incident: Philadelphia Police
Philadelphia Police said the people seen here are sought in connection with a distraction burglary incident that occurred last week.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help identifying a burglary suspect.
The break-in occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 2900 block of South Juniper Street, police said.
According to police, the suspect knocked on the victim's door and claimed to be from a construction company, needing to check the rear deck at the request of the building inspector.

The victim let the suspect inside and took him to the back deck, where they talked for about 5 to 10 minutes, police said.
That's when a second suspect came into the home, went to the second floor bedroom, and took assorted jewelry, police said.

No threats or force were used against the complainant during this incident.
Both suspects left the area on foot, going northbound on Juniper Street.
The first suspect was described as a black man, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, with a heavy build, about 220 to 240 pounds. He has a light brown complexion, was wearing a dark-colored baseball hat, a black shirt over a white shirt, and blue jeans.
The second suspect was described as a black man, unknown age, about 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall with a medium build. He was wearing a dark-colored hat, black jacket, and blue jeans.
