2 Sought In Oct 19 Mass Shooting: Philadelphia Police

Seven people, ages 16 to 30, were hurt in a mass shooting during the early morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 19 in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are asking for help identifying and finding two people responsible for a mass shooting earlier this month that hurt several people.

According to police, the shooting happened at about 3:25 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 on the 1100 block of Cumberland Street.

Seven people were hurt in the shooting. The victims ranged from 16 to 30 years old, with the 16-year-old being listed in critical condition, police said.

More than 50 rounds were reportedly fired in the incident.

Police found video of the suspects in a late model Nissan Altima that was seen at 11th and Cumberland streets. Authorities described the vehicle as charcoal gray with tinted rear and side windows, five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, and no license plate.

One suspect was described as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a face mask, while the other was described as a male wearing a black jacket over a gray hooded sweat shirt and a mask.
