PHILADELPHIA — The Pennsylvania SPCA's shelter is full, and in an effort to find homes for its dogs and cats, adoptions fees are capped at $20 this weekend.
Adoption fees for all adult dogs and cats will be $20 Saturday and Sunday at the organization’s headquarters, 350 East Erie Ave. in Philadelphia.
Eligible dogs and cats must have been available for adoption for 30 days.

With recent large-scale Animal Law Enforcement rescues, and adoptions slowing during the summer months, the shelter is at capacity. Due to this critical level, the organization is urgently seeking adopters for both dogs and cats.
The adoption event is geared toward those who have been waiting for the right time to adopt.
