2018 Philly Burger Brawl Winners Crowned

Have you tried any of the winners of the 2018 Philly Burger Brawl? If not, you should make plans to visit these eateries for a bite and sip.

PHILADELPHIA – The annual Philly Burger Brawl was pushed back after harsh weather hit the area on June 3. But on Sunday, June 10 the event went off without a hitch. And attendees and judges crowned winners across three categories.

When all was said and done, Peanut Butter and Jelly burger from Lucky's Last Chance won the People’s Choice Burger Brawl Winner; Al Pastor tacos from El Vez won the People’s Choice Taco Takedown; and a Maker's Mark cocktail from Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft was named the Cutthroat Cocktail Competition winner.

As for the judges, they decided Northeast Sandwich Co.'s NeSCo patty melt was their top burger, and selected Tongue and cheek taco from Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft as their top taco.

The Peanut Butter and Jelly burger, while an odd-sounding dish, marks its third People’s Choice win in the annual burger competition.

The eighth Philly Burger Brawl raised funds for the School District of Philadelphia to construct new computer labs.
