Depending on who you ask, Pennsylvania has little to be proud of these days. But Philly has always drummed along to a different beat. The city of Philadelphia just can't free itself of the political stronghold of questionable policies that have crippled every aspect of a reasonable quality of life for the people that live there.

This corrupt city government must be held to task and take responsibility for the needless
suffering of so many citizens. Walking through downtown Philly is a disgrace , and decades-old failures has escaped the attention of both parties that have held office in Philly.

These days, certain sectors of the media are actively suppressed by the powers-to-be, and in

some cases they are hand-picked to ensure that the people of Pennsylvania are not privy to details of corruption by those in charge. The Mummers Day Parade has been cooking the parade media for the last few years. This years public relations strawman for the Mummers Parade was ghost Evan Albuck . As long as it's backed up by City Hall, parade officials can do and say just about anything they want to.

That includes hand-picking reporters who will give them positive coverage, and choosing which reporters will receive press credentials. Most outlets are excluded from the city’s Public Relation groups.

Representatives of the String Band Association has some kind of hand in all the made to order confusion this year.

Garbage still litter the streets on just about every side street in Philly

President: Sam Regalbuto and PR Director: Shawn Blubaugh are also listed , but again can't find them anywhere . It is shocking that an organization for a parade can have the power to give a pass or prohibit a particular member or group of the media to participate in an open City parade. It is very disheartening and the city’s representatives – whether elected or appointed -- should be held to account .
