$20K Reward Offered In Shooting that Killed Innocent Bystander: Police

The deadly shooting occurred May 11 on the 4700 and 4800 block of North Broad Street, Philadelphia Police said.

PHILADELPHIA — Reward money is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible for the deadly shooting of an innocent bystander in early May.

The shooting occurred at about 4:45 p.m. May 11 on the 4700 block of North Broad Street, Philadelphia Police said.

Two groups walking in the area got into an argument, police said.

During the argument, a man pulled out a handgun, firing shots at the other group, according to police.

About a block and a half down the street, on the 4800 block of North Broad, a woman was struck in the back by gunfire.

Police said she later died from her injuries.
