2nd South Street Gunman Identified, Murder Warrant Issued For 3rd: DA
Rashaan Vereen, 34, is charged with attempted murder, evidence tampering, and more, authorities said.

PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia have provided more details on the investigation into the deadly mass shooting on South Street that killed three and injured 11 people Saturday night.
According to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, an arrest warrant has been issued in connection with the death of one of two innocent bystanders killed in the shootout.
Philadelphia Police Tuesday issued an alert regarding the wanted suspect.

Police said the man should be considered armed and dangerous.
There is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of an individual wanted for homicide. The ATF has also added another $10,000 per suspect for those responsible.

Anyone who has information on this person is urged to submit a tip by calling 215 686-8477 or the PPD Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334.
Tipsters can remain anonymous.
The DA's office said it will not be releasing identifying information until such time as that individual is brought into custody by law enforcement.
"This highly complex investigation is a close collaboration among the Philadelphia Police, ATF DAO, and other law enforcement agencies," District Attorney Larry Krasner said. "We continue to make good progress – thanks in no small part to residents and local business owners who have provided tips, video, and other key information to investigators – and are hopeful that we will have a legal and factual basis to issue an arrest warrant for the second homicide in the next several days."
The DA's office said charged in the shooting are Quran Garner, 18, and Rashaan Vereen, 34.
Garner's charges are four counts of aggravated assault, two counts of assault of a law enforcement officer, violations of the uniform firearms act, and related offenses.
Vereen has been charged with attempted murder, conspiracy, aggravated assault, obstructing administration of law, tampering with evidence, and related offenses.
