Here are the top stories in Philadelphia today:

  1. A snapshot of the horrendous gun violence and lawlessness in Philadelphia developed at the intersection of Guilford and Rowland Streets in Mayfair. Three people were killed and another person remains in critical condition after more than 50 shots were fired around 10 p.m. Monday evening near Lincoln High School. The victims were 18, 19, 24, and 28 years old. They were ambushed by the gunmen who had been waiting in the parked minivan for about 20 minutes. And to make these fatalities worse, after being shot, some victims were then run over by the getaway vehicle. (6abc Philadelphia)
  2. McGillin's Olde Ale House, the oldest continually operating bar in Philadelphia, will soon be featured on an upcoming A+E show about the country's most legendary establishments.
"Legends of the Fork," starring Buddy Valastro of "Cake Boss" fame, will visit McGillin's on Wednesday to film some of the food, drinks and crowd that make the restaurant a Philly staple. No word yet if Buddy's bringing the cannoli. (PhillyVoice.com)
  3. Here's something to make your skin crawl. Philadelphia has placed third in the "Top 50 Bed Bug Cities List" according to Orkin, a nationwide exterminator company. Orkin revealed the cities that made the list via press release on Tuesday during a time in which, according to them, most Americans are starting to plan their vacations for the year. It's not that bad, Philly rank's 7th as the "Rattiest City in the USA." (pennlive.com)

  • Table For One-During the week, Georgie Sipala is a full-time nurse.
But on the weekends, her life changes into the Lone Bruncher. Sipala has always enjoyed taking pictures of her food and making recommendations for where her friends and family should eat next. The hashtag The Lone Bruncher was created from her many solo dates around the city. Encouraged by her friends and family, Sipala started the page @thelonebruncher on Instagram to showcase the different cuisines around the city of Philadelphia. (abc7ny.com)
  • If you're a fan of murder mysteries, then this place is right up your alley. Red Rūm Theater is opening in Philly and will be the city's only venue dedicated to the art of murder mystery. For the opening show Without a Cue Productions is bringing the 1985 American classic, Golden Girls, to the Red Rūm Theater on Tuesday, January 17th at 8:00 p.m. Opening night will also feature cocktail service provided by Philadelphia-based distillery Pops McCann Whiskey, light bites, a red carpet, photo opportunities with the Golden Girls cast, and a chance to meet one of PAWS' adoptable dogs. • We don't care if you take Uber there- the Philadelphia Auto Show is Back! The 2023 Show features more ride & drive experiences than ever before! A newer and bigger E-track, Camp Jeep and Ram Truck Territory are just some of the features this year. Show starts January 28th at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. (phillyautoshow.com)
  • Yo, Adrian! I'm a major attraction! Like it or not, more people visit the Rocky Statue, now at the bottom of the Art Museum steps, than probably visit the Philadelphia institution itself. (billypenn.com)
