$5K Reward Offered In Hunt For Delco Man Wanted In SEPTA Bus Shooting

Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Raphael Ezeamaka, 18, of Darby, in connection with the shooting.

PHILADELPHIA — Federal authorities are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of a Delaware County man they said opened fire on a SEPTA bus, injuring three women, in Philadelphia.

The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Raphael Ezeamaka, 18, of Darby.

Ezeamaka is wanted on charges of attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and criminal conspiracy.

Authorities said Ezeamaka shot at a full SEPTA Route G bus Oct. 8 on the 700 block of South 57th Street.

According to authorities, Ezeamaka got into an argument on the bus, and when he got off fired shots at the bus, striking three women, ages 29, 56, and 60. The three victims were not seriously injured, police said.

Police said Ezeamaka is known to frequent the Southwest/West and South Philly areas. He is considered armed and dangerous.

A $5,000 reward will be processed immediately upon Ezeamaka's arrest, and not upon his conviction, the U.S. Marshals Service said.

Ezeamaka is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

His last known address was in the 100 block of N. Fairview Avenue in Upper Darby, according to federal authorities.

"Anyone who purposely shoots into a crowded bus full of innocent people demonstrates an absolute disregard for human life," Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Robert Clark said. "Apprehending Raphael Ezeamaka is paramount to public safety"
