6 Shot Outside Nightclub In Philadelphia: Police

Four women and two men were injured after a shooter opened fire on a crowd, according to Philadelphia police.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Six people were injured in an overnight weekend shooting outside a Northern Liberties nightclub, according to police.

The incident occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. Sunday, when a person opened fire on a crowd of people near Trilogy Nightclub at North Sixth and Spring Garden streets, police said. An argument that began in the club had turned physical, at which point a man started shooting, WPVI reported.

The victims included four women and two men, according to police. A 26-year-old woman was in critical condition after being shot in the chest, police said. The other victims, ages 29-37, were in stable condition after suffering shots to the back and extremities, as well as graze wounds, according to police.

No one had been arrested Sunday, nor were any weapons recovered, police said.
