8 Sought After Woman Beaten In Center City Philadelphia

Police said the people seen here attacked a woman in Center City Philadelphia in late February.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are looking for eight people involved in the beating of a woman in Center City.

The incident occurred at 7:12 p.m. on Feb. 23 at 15th and Chestnut streets.

A 33-year-old woman was walking in that area at that time when a group of eight people assaulted her.

She was knocked to the ground and while down, the assailants punched and stomped her, knocking her unconscious.

Police said the victim suffered injuries to her head, face, and body.

She was taken to Jefferson Hospital for treatment, police said.
