Armed Woman, 86, Old Robs Philadelphia Bank: Police
The woman entered a University City bank Tuesday afternoon with an revolver and demanded $400, police said.

PHILADELPHIA – An 86-year-old woman is accused of holding up a Philadelphia bank with a revolver Tuesday afternoon after she thought the bank shorted her withdrawal amount, according to police and media reports.
Emily Coakley, 86, of the 6200 block of Addison Street, was arrested at about 2:05 p.m. at the TD Bank located at 3735 Walnut Street after allegedly pulling a gun and demanding $400 from bank workers, Philadelphia Police said.
When she was taken into custody, police said they recovered a revolver.

Coakley faces nine charges stemming from the incident. Those include robbery, terrorisitic threats, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, and firearms violations, according to court records.
She was in the bank earlier that day and believed the bank shorted her $400 when she made a withdrawal, so she came back to get the rest of what she thought she was owed, according to Fox 29.

The Fox outlet reports the firearm was not loaded, but authorities found bullets in Coakley's purse.
Coakley was released Nov. 22 on $100,000 unsecured bail, court records show.
She has a preliminary hearing set for Dec. 7, according to court documents.
