Barricade Situation In Philadelphia Ends With Man In Custody

PHILADELPHIA — A man was taken into custody after barricading himself in a Philadelphia home Monday night with four kids in the home, police said.

The scene unfolded at about 5:30 p.m. at a home on the 200 block of Sickels Way.

Authorities were called to the home for a domestic incident.

Officers on scene learned an armed man barricaded himself in the property, with four juveniles inside.

Action News reports police at some point were able to get into the home and take the man into custody.
