PHILADELPHIA — President Joe Biden will be in Philadelphia Thursday evening to deliver a prime time speech.

And of course with a presidential visit comes various impacts to traffic in and around the city.

Biden is set to speak outside Independence Hall at 8 p.m.

He and Jill Biden are expected to land at the Philadelphia International Airport at 6:50 p.m.

But before their arrival, closures are expected from 4th Street to 6th Street and from Market Street down to Walnut Street at 4 p.m.

Following the speech, at about 9:25 p.m., the motorcade will head back to the airport, again likely on Interstate 95.

Drivers should be prepared for traffic delays due to the president's visit to the city.

Biden is planning to discussion the "soul of the nation" during his speech.
