Here are the top three stories today in Philadelphia:
- President Biden is giving Philadelphians a gift to their "wooder" works. He'll be visiting the Belmont Water Works to push his infrastructure plan where he will announce $500 million for water upgrades and lead service removal. Vice President Kamala Harris will be there as well, and they will be joined by EPA Administrator Michael Regan, Governor Josh Shapiro, Senator John Fetterman, Senator Bob Casey, Congressman Dwight Evans and Mayor Jim Kenney.(WPVI-TV)
- Last month, the Philly Pops were kicked out of the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall on S. Broad Street for nonpayment of rent. They're still making music on Broad Street but this time, they're a few miles north and now have a few shows at The Met in North Philadelphia. (PhillyVoice)
- Keep your Kansas City BBQ sticky paws off of the Rocky statue. Remember what happened when the Minnesota Vikings performed a SKOAL takeover of the Art Museum steps? And how did the San Fran 49ers do against the Eagles in the NFC Championship after they put a 49ers jersey on Rocky Balboa? Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has a message for Chiefs fans in the Philadelphia area: "Do not touch the f---ing Rocky memorial!" Fox News
