- Just in time for Christmas weekend, a winter storm arrives later today. Heavy rains of 1 to 3 inches followed by high winds that could reach over 50 m.p.h. is capped off with below freezing wind chills that will feel like 20 degrees below freezing. But no worries, Santa loves this stuff! (weather.gov)
- The Philadelphia Eagles are on the cusp of clinching the NFC East and the top seed in the NFC, which would give them homefield advantage throughout the NFL playoffs. But they face uncertainty regarding star quarterback Jalen Hurts, and his availability for Saturday's huge game against the Dallas Cowboys. According to multiple reports, Hurts suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's win over the Chicago Bears. The injury is being described at this time as a "sprained shoulder." (msn.com)
