Boy, 13, Hurt In Christmas Day Shooting That Left Man Critical

A teenage boy was hut in a shooting that left a 34-year-old man in a Christmas Day shooting, Philadelphia Police said.

PHILADELPHIA — A 13-year-old boy was hurt in a double shooting on Christmas Day, Philadelphia Police said.

The shooting happened at about 7:51 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Oregon Avenue.

Police said the boy was shot once in the left hand. He was taken to Jefferson Hospital by police.

A 34-year-old man was also shot several times in the stomach, neck, arm, and hip. The man drove himself to University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where he is in critical condition.

Police have not made any arrests.
