Boy, 9, Dies After Being Pulled From Philadelphia Creek: Reports
A 9-year-old boy died after being pulled from Tacony Creek Sunday evening in Philadelphia. His identity was not released.
PHILADELPHIA — A young boy has died after being rescued from a Philadelphia creek Sunday evening, according to reports.
Authorities were called to Tacony Creek at about of 6:10 p.m. Sunday in the area of 1100 block of East Wyoming Avenue for a report of an unresponsive child in the water, Fox 29 reports.
There, officers found a 9-year-old boy in the water and pulled him out, according to Action News.

The boy was taken to Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, according to NBC10.
His identity was not released.
