This weekend, Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th, Balloon Shows USA is officially bringing the Burlington Hot Air Balloon Festival to the Burlington County Fairgrounds (1990 Jacksonville-Jobs town Rd, Columbus, NJ 08022). Gates open nightly at 5:00 PM, kicking off a heavily anticipated summer event that local families have pinned to their calendars.
The festival grounds will fill with massive, vibrant hot air balloons, offering attendees a bucket-list visual experience from the moment they walk through the gates. For those looking to elevate their weekend, the festival offers the unique thrill of tethered hot air balloon rides $35 per person, available on-site and strictly weather-permitting). These rides offer guests a chance to soar above the fairgrounds, taking in panoramic views of the Burlington County landscape as dusk settles.
The true signature of the event begins around 9:00 PM each night. As darkness falls, Balloon Shows USA transforms the fairgrounds into an outdoor arena for a massive, multi-sensory Hot Air Balloon Glow and Laser Show.
The Laser Spectacle: State-of-the-art laser displays will paint the night sky with brilliant, sharp colors, perfectly synched to heart-pumping music. Audience members will lead coordinated, stadium-wide countdowns to trigger major visual drops and synchronized burns.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs, to claim a viewing spot on the grass.
