A body that was burned beyond recognition was found in the driveway of a Northeast Philadelphia home early Tuesday morning, reports state.

PHILADELPHIA — A badly burned body was found in the driveway of a Northeast Philadelphia home early Tuesday morning, according to reports.

The body was found at about4 a.m. in a residential driveway on the 8000 block of Leonard Street, Fox 29 reports.

When police arrived, they called for firefighters to respond due to the body being engulfed in flames and unrecognizable, according to Action News.
