Join The Print Center either in-person or Zoom for the first of two conversations presented in conjunction with “America Today: Voices in Contemporary Print.” Artists and representatives from three community-focused, mission-driven printshops around the US will talk about their unique communities and how collaboration feeds the making of socially relevant prints.
Moderated by Lauren Rosenblum, artists Melissa Govea, Sedrick Huckaby and Lehuauakea will be joined by collaborators from Brandywine Workshop & Archives (Philadelphia, PA), Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts (Pendleton, OR) and Self Help Graphics & Art (Los Angeles, CA).
