July 4th FreedomFest is a FREE annual, family-friendly Independence Day celebration at Pleasant Hill Park in Northeast Philadelphia (Linden Ave at the Delaware River). The festival features live music, local artisans, food trucks, a beer garden, a forty-foot Ferris Wheel, moon bounces, and beautiful, relaxing views along the Delaware River. The day ends with a state-of-the-art fireworks display launched from a river barge. Produced by One River Alliance and State Street Events in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the Philadelphia Police Department, and community partners, FreedomFest has become one of the city’s largest July 4th events and a beloved Northeast Philly tradition.
