Center City To Get 2nd Shake Shack Location, Report Says
Fans of the popular burger and milkshake chain will have another location to get their fix of the famous sandwiches and "concrete" shakes.
PHILADELPHIA – If you love Shake Shack but wish you had another spot to get your fix of burgers, fries, and "concrete" milkshakes, you'll be excited to hear a second location is planned in Center City Philadelphia.
Philly.com reports a new Shake Shack outpost is planned for the Southeast corner of 12th and Chestnut streets with a fall 2018 projected opening date.
Shake Shack has locations already at 2000 Sansom St. in Center City and 3200 Chestnut St. in University City. The Wells Fargo Center also houses a Shake Shack outpost.

A Shake Shack representative told the outlet that the new location "represented the confluence of everything Shake Shack looks for in an urban location — strong daytime population, seven-day-per-week shopping cotenancy, and a neighborhood that is in high growth mode."
