Girl, 5, Struck By Philadelphia Police Vehicle Tuesday Night
Philadelphia Police said a 5-year-old girl was taken to CHOP after being struck by a police vehicle early Tuesday evening.
PHILADELPHIA — A child was struck by a Philadelphia Police vehicle Tuesday night, authorities said.
The incident occurred at about 7:27 p.m. on the 1600 block of South Ithan Street, police said.
An officer was heading south on that block at that time when they struck a 5-year-old girl, according to police.

The child was taken to CHOP where she is in stable condition, police said.
The incident is being investigated.
