The man died after being thrown 50 feet and knocked out of his shoes when he was struck by a vehicle that drove off on Christmas night.
PHILADELPHIA — A man died in a Christmas night hit-and-run in Philadelphia, according to reports.
The crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on East Snyder Avenue near East Moyamensing Avenue, Action News reports.
Authorities said a man believed to be in his 40s was walking on Snyder Avenue when he was hit head on by a vehicle, likely a silver sedan, that drove off, according to Fox 29.
