The Department of Revenue is holding this year’s meeting to review account write-offs as a virtual event. It nevertheless remains open to the public. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and to protect participants’ wellbeing, the annual review will convene as a Zoom meeting.

Who: The Accounts Review Panel and any member of the public who wants to attend. For accounting purposes, the City reviews old debts annually and removes them from financial statements.
Once written off, the debts are no longer considered receivables for accounting purposes. However, they remain in City systems, and efforts to collect the debts continue.
