Delco Company Posts Billboards In Cleveland To Draw LeBron James

One Chester company is on the forefront of trying to bring basketball megastar LeBron James to Philadelphia with three billboards in Ohio.

CHESTER, PA – A Delaware County-based company is on the forefront of trying to bring basketball megastar LeBron James to Philadelphia as it posted three new billboards in Cleveland, Ohio.

Chester's Power Home Remodeling is looking to bring another championship to Philadelphia, but with the 76ers and the help of "King" James.

Three billboards have been posted near the Quicken Loans Arena, the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers where James plays as small forward, that are meant to entice the star to join the Sixers.

"Philadelphia is Power’s hometown and we love this city," Power Home Remodeling CEO Asher Raphael said. "We believe that all top talent - no matter the industry - should want to live and work here."

James signed a three-year deal with the Cavs in 2016. But the rumor mill says he may leave the team at the close of this season.

"These billboards were done all in good fun and as a reflection of our culture; we work really hard but have fun along the way," Raphael said.

Putting LeBron on the court with young Sixers stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons would instantly create a superteam. Rumors have long connected James to Philadelphia, as the "Process" comes to fruition and the Sixers enter a championship window. They're also one of the few teams that would likely be able to afford James astronomical salary.

James, 33, has remained one of the NBA's most dominant players this season, despite the up and down season of his Cavaliers. He signed a three year deal with the Cavaliers in 2016 but could choose to exercise his player option to opt-out for the final year of that deal following the conclusion of this season.

Reactions to the rumors have been mixed. While many are understandably excited about the prospect of bringing one of greatest basketball players of all time to Philadelphia, others, like SI's Andrew Sharp, question how well James could ultimately integrate with the Sixers on the court, and wonder if it would do more harm than good to shift all the focus and pressure from Embiid and Simmons to James.

The Sixers currently sit at 32-26, good for seventh place in the Eastern Conference and just two and half games behind the third-place Cavaliers.
