Dozen Rescued From Boat Taking On Water On Schuylkill River: Reports

A boat full of partying people started to take on water as it floated on the Schuylkill River early Thursday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — A dozen partiers were rescued from a boat that was taking on water while on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.

At about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, first responders got a call from one of the boaters who said their vessel was taking on water at the Platt Bridge, according to NBC10.

As a result, 12 people were rescued by Coast Guard and Marine Units, Fox 29 reports.

No one was hurt, and the dozen people were in good spirits, according to Action News.
