“Dual Pathways” Helps High School Students Earn College Credit
-- College-Bound CTE Students in the Philadelphia Area Can Save Thousands in College Tuition at Harcum College--

Bryn Mawr, PA – August 15, 2019 – A new agreement between the School District of Philadelphia and Harcum College called “Dual Pathways” allows current and former Career and Technical Education (CTE) students to earn college credits while completing high school courses.
The Dual Pathways program enables students enrolled in six CTE programs to transfer high school credits toward an associate’s degree in any of Harcum’s four business programs—Business Management, Accounting, Marketing, and Sports Management—while completing high school education requirements at the same time.
By enrolling in Dual Pathways, School District of Philadelphia students can save the time it takes to complete a college degree and savings of up to $9,000, by reducing their college credit load by nine credits (roughly three college courses).
