Fritz & Bianculli Launches “Community Spotlight” Series

Philadelphia, PA – Fritz & Bianculli Law Firm is proud to continue its Fritz & Bianculli Community Spotlight series, a social media-based initiative dedicated to celebrating the people, traditions, and small businesses that make the Philadelphia region a vibrant and resilient community.

Hosted by Fritz & Bianculli employees, who are all active in the community, the series features in-depth conversations with local leaders, entrepreneurs, and organizations that positively impact the region’s neighborhoods. After featuring Scannicchio’s Italian Restaurant (2500 South Broad Street) in the initial Community Spotlight in December, the first episode of 2026 highlights The Bill McIntyre: Shooting Stars, the first Fancy Brigade in Philadelphia’s iconic Mummers Parade. In advance of the most recent parade, Fritz & Bianculli’s Dana Ragni sat down with Scott McIntyre, leader of the Shooting Stars, to discuss the brigade’s history, its deep family roots in South Philadelphia, and the creative process behind its theme, Monsters Unchained.

For managing partner Brian Fritz, the Community Spotlight is a natural extension of the firm’s identity.

“Fritz & Bianculli isn’t just located in Philadelphia — we’re from here,” said Fritz. “Our team grew up in these neighborhoods. We shop here, we raise our families here, and we care deeply about the people and businesses that make this region special. The Community Spotlight is about lifting up those stories. We’re not one of these national firms that plaster ads on every billboard along I-95 and purchase endless commercials pretending they know what it’s like being from the region.”

Fritz, a Northeast Philadelphia native, attended Father Judge High School before earning his undergraduate degree from Penn State and his law degree from Temple University. Ragni, a South Philadelphia native, has been an executive at the firm for more than a decade and shares Fritz’s commitment to supporting local institutions.

Located at 22 Wolf Street in South Philadelphia, Fritz & Bianculli has consistently prioritized community engagement. Last year, the firm launched its Hall of Courage, an in-office tribute honoring individuals who have overcome adversity and made a meaningful difference in the lives of others. The firm also awards scholarships to Father Judge students and during the COVID-19 pandemic was the first business to deliver meals to first responders throughout the region. Additionally, the new office space has hosted numerous local events, including a Santa Claus visit for local children during the most recent holidays.

Courage is a defining theme throughout the firm’s office space. Each conference room highlights stories of perseverance — from Fritz’s immigrant father, whose citizenship photo hangs among hundreds of newly sworn Americans, to the 1980 “Miracle on Ice” U.S. Olympic hockey team. The visual reminders reflect the firm’s belief that resilience and determination define both their clients and their city.

“Most of the people who walk through our doors are facing some of the hardest moments of their lives,” Fritz added. “They’ve suffered catastrophic injuries or unimaginable loss. What inspires us is their courage. This series is another way for us to celebrate the strength and character that exist throughout our community — not just in our clients, but in the business owners, volunteers, and leaders who make Philadelphia what it is.”

The Fritz & Bianculli Community Spotlight will continue to feature diverse voices from across the Delaware Valley, reinforcing the personal injury firm’s commitment to remaining deeply rooted in the communities it serves.
