Graduate Post Acute in Philadelphia Welcomes New Medical Director and Pulmonology Program Lead

Graduate Post Acute in Philadelphia has enhanced leadership to complement the skilled nursing facility’s talented in-place team. The new appointments include Medical Director Susan Kirchdoerffer, DO, and Pulmonary Director Aloknath A. Pandya, MD.

Dr. Kirchdoerffer, who is board certified in family medicine, has more than 20 years of experience. She is affiliated with TeamHealth, one of the country’s leading physician practices, and has received numerous accolades, including the “Readers’ Choice for Family Practice” Award. She joins Graduate Post Acute at a transformative time. The recently rebranded skilled nursing center, which provides post-hospital care and short-term rehab, is undergoing a modernization of both its accommodations and clinical offerings.

Dr. Pandya is triple-board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care. He is the founder of Spiromedics, a pulmonary and sleep consultancy in Philadelphia. He is leading Graduate Post Acute’s established RespiraCare pulmonary care program, which caters to individuals with a range of diagnoses and conditions. Its specialized clinical services aim to reduce pulmonary symptoms, decrease disability, increase participation in physical and social activities, and promote independence and quality of life.
