Gun Scare Locks Down Philadelphia School, 2 Students Detained: Police
Two male students have been detained after a gun was reported to have been brought inside a Philadelphia high school.

PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia high school was locked down Wednesday morning after a gun scare, police said.
Officers were called to Bartram High School, 6700 Elmwood Ave., at about 10:03 a.m. for a report of a student with a gun in the school.
The school was locked down by police.

Police said two male students are believed to have brought a gun to the school, however no firearm has been found.
The two students have been detained, police said.

Counter-Terrorism and SWAT units are at the school to assist in the investigation.
Bartram High School is dismissing early out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of the school community.
