Murder, More Charges Filed In Deadly Philadelphia Hit-And-Run
A 19-year-old man from Bucks County has been charged with homicide by vehicle, murder, and reckless driving in connection with the crash.
PHILADELPHIA — A man in his 40s died after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Philadelphia, and a 19-year-old has been charged with murder and related crimes in connection.
According to Philadelphia Police, the crash occurred at about 12:06 a.m. at Castor and Aramingo avenues in Port Richmond.
A man in his 40s was hit by a dark Dodge Charger that was speeding on the road.

The man, who has not been identified by police, died at 12:25 a.m.
The Charger was speeding so fast that the collision sent the victim flying and knocked him out of his shoes, police said.

Authorities believe the Charger and another vehicle were racing, and sped through a red light.
Police found the striking vehicle in Pennsauken, New Jersey, with two men inside it.
Joseph Vannauker, 19, from Levittown, was charged with homicide by vehicle, murder, and reckless driving.
A 16-year-old boy was also in the vehicle, police said.
Authorities are still looking for another vehicle, a white Dodge Charger, in connection with the crash, Action News reports.
