Hit-And-Run Driver Sought After Woman Seriously Hurt: Philly Police
Philadelphia Police said the person seen here is wanted in connection with an Oct. 8, 2024 hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a woman.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding the driver who struck a woman then left her back in early October 2024.
The hit-and-run happened at about 8:44 a.m. Oct. 8, 2024 at Bustleton Avenue and Stanwood Street.
Policed said the victim, a 47-year-old woman, was struck in the crosswalk by a gray 2010 to 2012 Honda Civic.

After striking the woman, the driver got out of the Honda, pulled the victim out of the street, then left before emergency responders arrived.
The woman suffered a traumatic brain injury in the crash.

Police described the suspect as a man, 20 to 30 years old, who was wearing eyeglasses, a red hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and red, white and black sneakers.
The striking vehicle has a missing right front hubcap and a rust spot on the rear trunk lid. It was bearing a temporary Pennsylvania license plate reading 4691-731.
