Holiday Tree Arriving At Philadelphia City Hall Wednesday Evening
Wednesday will mark the arrival of the Holiday Tree at Wawa Holiday Plaza at City Hall, and it will be lit up Thursday, Dec. 2.
PHILADELPHIA — It's going to look a lot like Christmas in Center City Philadelphia this week, as the Holiday Tree will arrive in the city Wednesday.
A 45-foot-tall, more-than-40-year-old tree will be delivered via flatbed truck Wednesday evening to the Wawa Holiday Plaza located on the north side of City Hall.
It will be hoisted into position by Sautter Crane in preparation for decoration by Proof Productions in advance of the annual tree lighting ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 2.

The Holiday Tree is a central item in the Philly Holiday Experience presented by Independence Blue Cross.
The tree come is a Concolor Fir from L.R. Stutzman & Sons, LLC, Division of Yule Tree Farms in Hornell, New York.
