Home Genius Exteriors Teams Take First Place at Ronald McDonald House Charities Plane Pull

For the second consecutive year, Home Genius Exteriors pulled together in support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region Plane Pull, contributing $10,500 to a high-flying community fundraiser that raised $175,000 collectively to help families with critically ill children.

The effort included three Home Genius Exteriors teams from Harrisburg, PA, Philadelphia, PA, and Cherry Hill, NJ. A total of 75 employees donated a combined 265 volunteer hours in support of the annual event. In addition to supporting the cause, the Home Genius Exteriors also walked away with a first-place finish in the competition, recording a winning time of 16.27 seconds in the plane pull challenge.

The effort was led in part by Home Genius Exteriors Care Captains Caitlin Alcorn and Alexlyah Powell as part of the company’s ongoing Home Genius Cares initiative, which focuses on giving back through volunteerism, charitable partnerships and community engagement across the markets the company serves.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities Plane Pull challenges teams to work together to pull a plane across the tarmac in the fastest time possible while raising funds to support housing, care, and resources for families with hospitalized children.
