Homicide By Vehicle Charges Filed In Crash That Killed Mummers
The District Attorney's Office filed more charges against Keith Campbell, who crashed head-on into another vehicle killing three people.

PHILADELPHIA – As authorities continue to prove the fatal South Philadelphia crash that killed three people, two of whom were recently engaged to be married, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office filed more charges against the driver who caused the crash.
The DA's office said Keith Campbell, 29, of Bear Delaware, has been hit with three county of homicide by vehicle for the deaths of Joseph Ferry, 36, of Philadelphia, Kelly Wiseley, 35, of Glenolden, and Dennis Palandro, 31, of Morton.
Campbell and Nicole Palando, 30, the wife of Dennis Palandro, survived the crash.

Now, Campbell faces with three counts of homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and possession of an instrument of crime.
The crash occurred around 1:45 a.m. at 7th Street and Packer Avenue when Campbell, driving an Audi sedan, crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck an Acura SUV driven by Ferry with the Palandros and Wiseley riding as passengers head on.

Wiseley and Ferry had just gotten engaged on Christmas. Ferry and Dennis Palandro were members of the South Philly String Band mummers group.
In less than 24 hours, two GoFundMe campaigns raised more than $60,000 for Nicole Palandro and Wiseley's family As of Thursday afternoon, the GoFundMe for Nicole Palandro has generated nearly $56,000 in 17 hours.
As for the Wiseley family fundraiser, almost $5,000 has been raised.
Campbell, who survived but is seriously injured, was found stabbed more than 10 times — police are working to determine if the wounds were self-inflicted. He crashed the Audi he was driving head-on into an Acura SUV driven by Ferry, with the Palandro's and Wiseley riding in the SUV.
Police later found a note described as rambling and paranoid in Campbell's car, but did not call it a suicide note and did not release its contents.
Campbell remains hospitalized.
