Homicide By Vehicle, DUI Charges Filed In Deadly March I-95 Crash
Pennsylvania State Police said the driver, Dimple Patel, had the hands free driving feature on her vehicle on when the crash occurred.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman turned herself in to Pennsylvania State Police Tuesday in connection with a deadly crash on Interstaste 95 in Philadelphia.
According to state police, Dimple Patel struck and killed two people at about 3:20 a.m. on March 3 along Interstate 95 north, near mile marker 26.8.
Patel was driving her 2022 yellow Ford Mustang Mach-E with the hands-free driving feature and Adaptive Cruise Control systems activated at the time of the crash, police said.

Police were called to the area for a report of a multi-vehicle crash and found Aktilek Baktybekov's red Toyota Prius was disabled on the left shoulder, partially in the left lane, and that Tolobek Esenbekov parked his gray Hyundai Elantra behind the Prius, also partially in the left lane and partially on the left shoulder.
Police believe Esenbekov was there to help Baktybekov.

Baktybekov's was standing in the roadway, near the front-left quarter-panel of the Elantra, and Esenbekov was getting out of the Elantra.
That's when police say Patel, who was going 71 to 72 miles per hour, when she struck the rear of the Hyundai.
Thisr resulted in a four-vehicle collission, striking Esenbekov and Baktybekov, which led to their deaths, police said.
On Aug. 28, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office charged Patel with two counts of homicide by vehicle while DUI, two counts of homicide by vehicle, two counts of involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence, and related vehicle violations.
