How To Check Your Stimulus Payment In Pennsylvania

The second round of Economic Impact Payments have been sent out. Here's how to easily check whether you've received yours.

PENNSYLVANIA — Pennsylvania residents are beginning to receive the latest round of stimulus payments, and there's an easy way to check if yours has been sent to you.

The Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department announced Dec. 29 that they would begin delivering a second round of Economic Impact Payments as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021.

The IRS said that direct deposit payments would begin at the end of December, and paper checks will be mailed Wednesday.

Those whose information is on file with the IRS for tax information will receive the money via direct deposit.

To use the link, one needs to enter a Social Security Number or TIN Number, as well as birthdate and address.

Most people who make under a certain amount will receive a non-taxable payment of $600. Full payments will go to those who meet the following thresholds for adjusted gross income: $75,000 for single filers, $112,500 for heads of household, and $150,000 for those married filing jointly.

Tax filers will also receive $600 for each dependent under age 17, and there's no cap on the number a household can receive, according to the Tax Foundation.
